HCBC Annual AGM and Spring Meeting – 2026

The Annual General Meeting and Spring Meeting date has been set for May 7, 2026, from 10am to 3:30pm. The meeting will be held in Whycocomagh at the Waterfront Centre formerly the Royal Canadian Legion Building.  Please forward this invitation to other interested parties or members of staff. This will be an in-person meeting but if anyone would like to take part by Zoom, we can arrange that as well. Please indicate this preference when you send your RSVP. An agenda and membership form will follow closer to the meeting date.

Lunch and snacks from the Farmers Daughter and La Provence Bakery, will be served at the cost of $20 cash per person so please let us know if there are any food concerns or allergies. Those attending can email p.maclean3489@gmail.com with your names, number attending, and food preferences. During the morning session, we will host our AGM meeting. The afternoon will provide time for representatives from ANSM, CNSA, Heritage Trust, and other groups to provide updates and generate some discussion.

HCBC is always looking to increase representation on its Board of Directors. If you or know of someone who would like to assist with the stewardship of Cape Breton Heritage and participate by being a board member, please email at the address above or jane_arnold@cbu.ca.
